"No Place Like Home" Frame
by Lisa L.

Junkitz Expressionz "Fall" and Patterned Paper "Earth Chunky
Stripes" was a perfect choice for this warm fall frame.
I made a template out of cardboard, wrapped it in patterned
paper and added some “home” expressionz. I finished it off with
a "Home Sweet Home" twill around the corner. It is just waiting
for a fall picture of our house.

Thanksgiving Dinner Mini Book
Seating Tag
by Lisa L.
When I began playing with the Junkitz line, I knew that it
would be perfect for a Thanksgiving dinner seating tag. I
wanted something meaningful and different. I came up with a
design that holds a little mini book inside. The outer tag
indicates the guest’s name and says “thankful for you” and
inside the mini book cover says “because” followed by blank
pages.
The idea is to have one tag at each place setting. At
thanksgiving
dinner, each guest rotates their seating tag one
seat clockwise. That guest writes inside why they are thankful
for that person. The tag is rotated again and so on until it
returns full circle to its owner. Your guest can take the
seating tag/mini book home as a truly thoughtful memory of
thanksgiving.
True Beauty Layout
by Lisa L.
I combined three different Junkitz Earth Tone Paperz with Bo
Bunny Russet Red Fine Weave to create this layout about autumn.
The journalling explains my inspiration:
“I believe that when beauty surrounds us, we begin to stop
seeing it. Such is the case with the pond across from our home.
So I took a walk with my camera and just randomly began
snapping away. When I returned home, I was amazed at Nature’s
beautiful palette sprung on the world. TRUE BEAUTY: there all
along, but only recognized this day. Thankful.
Neat find: I found an old standup desk calendar at an antique
store. I took it apart and have been using the metal numbers on
layouts. One of the squares said “Change Month” - perfect for
this layout about a month full of change.

Horse
Ride
by Sonda T.

These papers by Junkitz are
perfect to coordinate with photos of my daughter horse
riding. They are already scratched and distressed. How
cool is that? Even the background piece *looks* like a barn
door. For my title I covered a stencil letter with pattern
paper and stamped horses over it. The button letters are
held on with mini brads. And, to remember the name
of her horse I used Doodlebug rub-on letters for his
name.

Fall...a
season of thanks
by Emelyn
This was Jasmin's first trip to the Pumpkin Patch and it was
such a beautiful day! I wanted to use
some bright fun paper to go with the bright sunshine in the
pictures. The new Rob and Bob papers
were perfect for this and the mix of orange and browns made
still made it perfect for Fall photos.
As a bonus, I was able to use the Doodlebug Ribbons which
matched so well.

Thanksgiving Blessing

WOWWWEEE!! I am soo loving these papers from Basic Grey. The
color combination is beautiful with
the hints of golds, greens, and purple! When I saw this paper,
I knew it would be perfect for
Thanksgiving pictures! The papers from the Fusion line is so
pretty and sweet. I was inspired by
the heart patterned paper to handcut the big heart and mat it
with purple cardstock. I also used
the new epoxy words by Tim Holtz as a perfect accent!

LunchPail
by Peggy S.
You know how some years are tougher than others?
This year has been quite challenging for my family. We have
certainly had our share of ups and downs this year. I decided to
take advantage of this month’s newsletter theme to remind myself
of all I have to be thankful for. I was thrilled to get my hands
on one of the Basic Grey lunch pail kits. I used it to make
myself a prayer journal titled “Abundant Blessings.”

I love the
new Basic Grey lines and chose papers from the Fusion line to
embellish the outside of the pail and the included cards. I had
fun with the included chipboard accents and love that they are
already covered with adhesive on one side, making it so easy to
cover with coordinating paper.
I have started with the cards
family, friends, faith, and create. I will add journaling about
all the things I have to be thankful for in these areas of my
life including the fact that I get to create pages and altered
items for a website that I love being a part of. These fun lunch
pail kits can also be used for planners, recipe boxes, school
records…… the list is endless and so much fun!

Princess
by
Mary H.
I love kits and
coordinating products. They make scrapbooking easy and yet the
end result is always one that makes me happy. This is true for
the layout I did for Sonda with her beautiful picture from
Disney. The layout uses only products from the Kaleidoscope
Princess line and some artificial flowers. My favorite picture
out of those that Sonda sent was the photo of her daughter and
Cinderella both smiling into the camera. So I enlarged that
photo to a 5 x 7 and matted it with the solid pink from the
Princess Dots/Hot Pink Kaleido Paper . I used the
Princess Kaleido Title with the word "pretty" of the
Princess Kaleido Words . The
Princess Kaleido Quote and the
Princess Flower Kaleido Cut made perfect accents. I cut the
Princess Flower/Aqua Kaleido Paper and
Princess Dots/Hot Pink Kaleido Paper into triangles and used
them with a couple of strips of the Flower paper for an
interesting background. The bright, fun colors went perfectly
with the joy on Baylee's face and the coordinated product line
made scrapbooking my first Disney photos easy.
