A Father Is... by Emelyn
I LOVE the new lines by All My Memories! The coordinated product lines make creating projects so easy! For this layout I used the Father's line from the Studio Collection. I wanted to balance the dark colors of the papers in the layout by using a light, neutral background so I chose Travertine cardstock from the Bazzill Places We Love Collection. This creates a simple elegant layout.
I used two strips of the patterned paper for a border, the vellum quote sticker, and the really cool All My Memories cool guitar picks! I also inked the edge of the cardstock with Black Distress Ink to tie in with the papers.

With the left over scraps I created a matching card. The red paper is actually the back of the polka dot paper, a perfect mat for the sticker quote! I added a piece of striped paper, ribbon, a guitar pick and inked all edges with Fired Brick Distress Ink.

Daddy
by Peggy
I love the new BasicGrey papers and have now officially collected two of each from each of the collections. For this layout of my husband with my twins (hard to believe they are now 6 ½!) I used papers, a monogram letter, and fibers from the Phresh and Phunky collection. I added the stamped word "Daddy" on the monogram letter and used a transparency overlay from Memories Complete.

Fatherhood Mini File Folder Album by Peggy
I created this mini file folder album using Fawn Bazzill as my base for the files and trimming, cutting, and layering several patterns of Rusty Pickle papers, Queen and Co. self adhesive ribbon, All My Memories "Father" stickers, Bazzinks (Bazzill ink), and photos over top. On the last page I placed two tags bottoms together and folded inward to make a hidden spot for journaling a note about why the kids love their dad. I also used bits of two preprinted ribbons from my stash to add the finishing touches.

Coordinating with Junkitz by Mary H.
Page kits are so hot right now. It seems like there are a million websites out there offering kits and even some of the magazines are jumping into the kit craze. Coordinated lines, such as the Junkitz lines, make it super easy to put together your own kit.
For "Greatest, Super, Bestest, Amazing Daddy" I used four different patterned papers, the Dad Matz, and the Dad Labelz along with some Making Memories photo corners. The Matz were so simple to use. They are a jelly-type material and were so easy to cut to size for the journaling block.

The Dad Labelz added a nice embellishment and still kept the layout "manly". My husband wears a lot of black and grey, so the patterned papers in this line were perfect for him. By using mainly products from one Junkitz line, I was able to put together a page kit that fit my needs perfectly for the layout I had in mind and I had enough paper left over to make my father-in-law's Father's Day card.

We Love Our Pappy by Mary H.
For the "We love our Pappy" layout I again used multiple patterned papers from one manufacturer's line. In this case, it was the Flair Designs Family line. I cut a portion of the Grandfather Words paper for the "Pappy" part of the layout. After inking all the patterned papers, I stitched two patterns to the Grandfather Words background paper. I stamped the rest of the title, added some ribbon for photo corners to my photos and put the layout together.
One of my biggest challenges in scrapbooking is matching paper. By using paper from the same line, I let the paper designer do the work for me. Since I started scrapbooking this way, my scrapbooking is really streamlined allowing me to get more done faster.

Bazzill Memory Mug by Mary

I'm always looking for ways to incorporate photos into gifts I give. I figure what better gift that to give a memory. The Bazzill Memory Mug is perfect for this. I made the "family" mug for my husband for Father's Day. He is a carpenter and doesn't exactly have a desk that he can place pictures of the kids on.
By making him a memory mug, he'll be able to have photos of his family at work with him. I think he'll love it and it was so easy to put together. Using the template included in the mug, I cut my background paper, added a photo of our family and a few embellishments and the gift was finished. I certainly couldn't have put a mini-album together in that time and he couldn't have taken a mini-album to work with him each day.

Vacation Spot by Sonda
I had so much fun working with these new Fancy Pants papers and stickers. Wow! They match perfectly with all the beach vacation photos I have taken. And then can easily be used to create some great masculine layouts! To create my title for this layout, I simply used some smaller alphabet stickers and placed them on top of the Fancy Pants "dream" sticker. I then used a template to make the letters in "spot".
