Summer Vacations = KI Memories
by Mary H.
To me Summer = Vacations and Vacations = bright, happy colors. KI Memories certainly fits this bill.
For the Liberty layout, I wanted the focus on the photos of the Statue of Liberty. The KI Memories Infinity collection worked perfectly! The colors were happy enough to satisfy me and yet they didn't seem to overpower the photos in the layout. To keep the emphasis on the photos, I cut two waves of the patterned paper and mounted it on the cardstock. I stamped my title and adhered my photos and journaling. This layout was quick and easy and yet the KI Memories paper added just the perfect amount of pizzazz for my taste.
With the leftover paper I had from this line, I altered a metal box. I stamped Krissy's Road Trip Kit and rounded the corners of the Infinity paper. I used some tulle and ribbon to dress up the handle a bit. After Mod Podging the box, it was finished on the outside. The box was on sale for $3.00 and contained a white board easel and some dry erase markers. After an eight-hour car ride with my daughter, I decided to add some items to the box to make it a little more fun for her. I went online and printed some car bingo cards. I then used Microsoft Word to draw a Tic-Tac-Toe board and used Doodlebug circles and flowers cardstock stickers as the X's and O's.
Finally, I used my Xyron to laminate all the pieces to the Bingo, Tic Tac Toe and the a scrap of White Cardstock (for a white board). Krissy loved the box and hopefully our next car trip will be easier than the last!
For the Busch Gardens layout, I used the Passport line. I wanted something fresh and bright for this layout as I remember it being so hot the day we were there.
Because I used the strips of paper across the bottom of the left page and then across the side of the right page, the layout had continuity. I used the Passport Alphaset to give my chipboard title initals some additional color. The KI Memories patterned paper is an embellishment in itself, so I felt that no other embellishments were necessary. The layout turned out on paper, just as it had in my mind: colorful and fun!

Japanese Gardens
by Peggy
I have had these photos from the Japanese Gardens in Portland, Oregon for several years. Every time I have pulled them out to scrap I have ended up putting them away again because I just couldn’t find the right papers to do the gorgeous colors justice. That is until I found the new KI Memories Evergreen Collection here at Tomorrow’s Memories.
These papers from the Pieces of Me Evergreen collection were so perfect that the only thing I added to them was a rub-on from the Junkitz Spring Expressionz collection.
I chose the Evergreen abstract for my background. The greens are perfect and the print brings in just a hint of other colors. I matted photos using the Lilac Painterly, Forest Stripe, and Lime Bliss papers from the Evergreen collection and some of the Bluebird Painterly from the Color Me Happy Collection. I added an accent piece from the green thumb paper, and some flower accents cut from the Lime Bliss paper. The title is made with Junkitz Spring Expressionz rub-ons. This was my first time using rub-ons from Junkiz and I love how easily these adhered to my paper.

Making Waves by Emelyn
The new Heidi Grace products are wonderful and filled with so many fun embellishments and
stickers! I thought the Day Dream line was perfect for beach photos with the hints of brown,
blue, and green.
First, I inked the edges of all the papers to help it stand out. I arranged strips of coordinated papers on the layout, then created the sublte "wave" to enhance the effect of the pictures. I hope you guys don't get seasick!

Lake Tahoe by Emelyn
This was a fun layout to create!! I was unsure if I wanted to use natural colors to highlight the natural surrounding we were in, but Jasmin's sweater just screamed out to me! Of course I had to
use PINK!!
The KI May release of the Painter's Palette were perfect!! With so many colors in the design, it is hard for these papers NOT to match anything! I used the subtle flower paper as my background and used the matching cardstock as my photo mat. Using the cardstock as the photo mat helped my photo stand out against the floral pattern. Then I just added a couple of strips of the striped patterned paper as accents. This layout will be the title page in the album from our trip to Lake Tahoe last May.

Beach by Sonda

Anyone who knows me know just how much I love the beach! So just imagine my excitement when I received this assortment of KI Memories Passport papers, alphasets and tattoos. I was in heaven! These pictures were taken in Monterey, CA. For my title, I cut out the negative of the letter "a" and combined it with four of the other letters.

Coin Envelope Mini Album by Sonda
What you will need:
Ten Medium coin envelopes (3 1/8 x 5 1/2)
Distress Ink by Ranger
1/4" hole punch
strips of muslin and ribbons
KI Memories Papers
adhesive
scissors
photos
embellishments
Instructions:
1. Score and fold all 10 envelopes 5/8" from the bottom. This will become the binding side.
2. Punch three holes along the edge (just under your score line), using the first one as a template for the other nine.
3. Tear off the opening flap of each envelope.
4. Rub distress ink on all the edges of each envelope.
5. Adhere horizontal and vertical strips of KI Memories papers to the front of each of the envelopes. Be sure to rub ink on these strips as well for a worn look. This is a great way to use up SCRAPS!
6. Add photos, stamps, embellishments and ribbons. Keep in mind the torn edge will be on your right side.
7. Cut a tag to fit into each envelope pocket. Rounding the corners will make it easier for the tag to slip in. Punch a hole, tie on some ribbon, and add more photos and journaling to your "hidden" tags.
8. Tie up your album threading distressed muslin or ribbon through the three punched holes. Your pages should turn easily along the scored edge.
