Hi

Welcome to our new newsletter!

Each month we plan to showcase new  products, share layouts, tips and tricks, site news
and announce the contest winners.

I hope you are all enjoying Spring! Here in the East, we are still having some days
of pretty cold, dreary weather, but with a few nice, beautiful days thrown in.
More time to spend outside playing, gardening, Spring Cleaning, and of course,
taking pictures!

Our Newsletter this month is focused on Spring and Spring cleaning/organizing.
Below we share some layouts and articles created for our themes this month.

My Mind’s Eye (Frame-Ups) has recently released a new line called Seasons.
The Seasons line features 36 of the most popular seasonal themes, special events and occasions. The coordinating elements for each theme consist of a title, frame, diecuts and
a quote block and can be purchased individually. The items are pre-cut, but some pieces require a little trimming. Here the Spring set adds just the right Spring feel to these pages.

In addition to the Seasons, Frame-ups is now offering “Months of the Year Packs.”
Each kit consists of a title, three borders and six accent diecuts. In the layout below, a border was trimmed to make a coordinating photo frame. These kits could be used in a family album, would make a great Baby’s First Year album or could even be used to
decorate a custom family calendar.

Spring Cleaning: Eyelets   by: Laura Bernhard

Are you up to your eyeballs in eyelets? Are you hesitant to add to your eyelet collection
until you get it under control? Does it seem more trouble than it’s worth to find the size
and color you need? Hopefully these hints will help you get your eyelets organized, accessible and under control. That way, you can buy more!

Craft Organizers
Watchmaker’s Tins are available at some hardware stores and online from LeeValley.com. (These are no longer stocked by Tomorrow's Memories)
Originally designed to store gems and small watch parts on a jeweler’s workbench, these cases provide attractive compact storage for eyelets and other small embellishments.
The see-through lids on the containers are a great added benefit.

Bead Organizers can be found at most discount and craft stores in all shapes and
sizes. They range in price from about $1 to $3.50 depending on size.

The larger organizers will even accommodate eyelets in the miniature ziploc bags -
that way you can pack more in!

The smaller stackable organizers take up less room on your scrapbook desk and
are very portable when it comes time to head to a crop.

Other Organizers
Pill cases are inexpensive, compact storage options. They vary in size from seven compartments to 28 compartments and can be purchased for as little as $1 at a drug
or discount store.

Head to the hardware and sporting goods departments of your local discount store
for other storage ideas. Tilt bins, hardware organizers, tool boxes and tackle boxes
come in a variety of shapes and sizes and make great homes for all your eyelets
.

Around the House
You may have items around your house that could be useful in your scrap area.
Baby food jars provide an inexpensive option, just use a little Undu to remove the labels.

Prescription pill bottles with childproof tops also provide great storage - especially
if your little ones like to play in your supplies. An old spice rack with jars would be an excellent option and would provide not only storage, but an interesting display on your
scrap desk..

Once you have your containers gathered, you will need to decide how you are going to categorize. I have found that separating by colors works best for me since that is how I usually use the eyelets. Another idea would be to sort by shape and size.

Have fun and happy hammering!

Other Site News.....

On Sale! As of May 1st we have added more items and categories to the clearance section.  The discount has also been changed and all sale items now receive 40% off at checkout!

Newest site features:

Added  recently is the ability to view your order status (easier than our old way).  Once logged into the shopping cart, there is a link for "Order Status".  This link will take you to
a screen to see the status, (shipped, pending, etc.), give you the tracking number
and allow you to view a copy of your invoice.

We have also added a new "Save Basket" feature to our shopping cart.  At any time,
you may now save your basket by clicking the "Edit/Save" basket button at the
top of the screen. You can save more than one basket, which will expire after 30 days.

Other features added are an "Inspirations" board and the Family Tree.

Inspirations are for poems, quotes and toppers. Please feel free to stop by and add to
this section. Visit our Inspirations by clicking here: Inspirations

The Family Tree is for you to create your family tree online.  You can also
allow other family members access so that they can add to it as well.  There is also an option for you to allow others to "view only" which prevents anyone from deleting or adding/changing your family tree. Visit our Family Tree by clicking here: Family Tree

We are working on some more user friendly features as well as changing to a faster cart and server in the next month or so.

I have tried my best not to make this too wide because I know not all monitors are the same. Unfortunately, I cannot size it to fit all, (although I have tried!) and some of you may have to scroll left to right to read this, while others can view it all at once in your email without scrolling. I am sorry about that!   But, I will continue to try and  find a "fits all" configuration.
